Transportation

Transmilenio is a public transportation system, that implemented in 2001. It works through articulated red buses attached to each other thru an exclusivecorridor.

These buses mobilize on exclusive bus lanes through the city with routes through calle 80, la troncal de la Caracas, Autopista Norte, Avenida Suba, La NQS and Avenida de las Americas.

The stations are located approximately every 500m along the routes.
