Bogota is located in the central part of the Latin American continent. Located in the Cordillera Occidental has an altitude of 2,640 meters above sea level and its geographical site is a high plateau in the Andes Mountains.

During the day the average temperature is 57°F and at night it reaches 50°F. The months of January, February, March and December are the driest of the year. The rainy months are April, August, September, October and November.
